||We built our first Haunt in 1999. It was all open (no maze walls) and consisted of a hangman, an electric chair, and a head on a table. You walked in, looked at them, and walked out. Talk about humble beginnings! The next year, we tried again. This time, we managed to obtain enough materials to build a few walls. It was still humble by today's standards, but at least we had an actual maze with six individual rooms. We took a year off, then built another one in 2002. After that, we decided we needed to concentrate more on decorating the INSIDE the house for our private Halloween party, and did nothing to the front or garage from 2003 to 2005. However, in 2006, we came back strong with not only a haunted house, but a 40-foot wide, 14-foot tall facade as well! In 2007, we out-did ourselves with a 35-foot long, 22-foot tall Pirate Ship facade, complete with masts, sails, cannons, and a skeleton crew! In 2008, we regressed a little and had a rather plain Castle
facade, but the next year, we regrouped with my favorite facade: Vulture Gulch Ghost Town! In 2010, we brought you the IWannaBeLoved Bayou (with 50 trees) and a real Swamp (with water and everything). Which brings us to this year. Our theme this year is Toys Gone Bad and our facade is the Small Brights Toy Factory. The maze will have 9 rooms, including a 16'-long Spinning Tunnel.
