Description Rotten Apple 907 Our haunted attraction began in 1990 when Diane and Preston Meyer were searching for a way to entertain kids at their daughter's, Melissa,Halloween birthday parties. As many people passed by, they wanted to go through the haunted house, and so the Meyers decided to pen the attraction to the public. Over the years, through dedication and hard work, the haunted house has become an experience that people look forward to attending each year. Now it is designed and built by all the members of the Meyer family, as well as a terrific group of people who volunteer their building and acting skills.Over the years, we have dedicated much time and effort to learning how to make our haunt even better! As a result, each years' house is more detailed and exciting, and the number of people attending our Haunted House increases. In 2005, we welcomed over 1,200 people through the doors of our Haunted House, and we have no doubt that the numbers will continue to grow.Rotten Apple 907 is proud to be a non-profit event! Each year we accept donations which are then given directly to a charity in need. There is no overhead taken out of the contributions, which means that 100% of the money received is sent to the charity. In 2005, we donated over $1,200 to Habitat for Humanity that went towards the buildin of new homes for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. For more information about this years' charity or about previous years' charities, please check out our Charity Info page.We thank you for visiting our site and we hope that you will join us for a scare.

Description Deep in the heart of the Inland Empire on the side of a lonely hill, sits an ancient cemetery; a necropolis so old that that its origins have been lost to history. Sinister and unspeakable powers lurk amongst its weathered tombstones and musty crypts. Dark forces there lie that, if undisturbed, go about their dread unearthly business rarely noticed by the neighboring, living, residents. But once a year on October 31st, on All Hallows Eve, when the boundary between the world of the living and the underworld is at its weakest, the malevolent undead powers of The Gramercy Graveyard arise from their shadowy resting places seeking to assuage unquenchable bloodlusts, to give free reign to unholy appetites, and to lure the unwitting into joining them in their perpetual nightmarish existence.Anyone who values their sanity, or for that matter their lives, would do well to avoid this accursed place The Gramercy Graveyard is our annual (basic but ever growing) yard haunt. We have a graveyard filled with ghosts, skeletons & zombies. This year (2009) we are adding the tomb of the mummy! Please come visit us on Halloween night!

Description

Our 2011 extreme home haunt is the most insane thing anyone has ever seen done to a home, so we are told.  There are four main aspects to the haunt.  First, there is the legend of the Rosa Witch – passed down from generation to generation.  Visitors can browse our website to get some history on the foundation of the haunt.  Second, our western style façade replicates some of the oldest buildings of Sonoma County.  Included are the local Undertaker, the town stables, the saloon, a jail, the Wolcott Hotel and the Mead Clark Lumber Company.  The third feature is the light show and animatronics.  The lights are perfectly orchestrated to the music of the 20 most popular Halloween songs from the past and present.  Our props include the insane sheriff that comes alive as commanded, the new violently shaking scarecrow trying to get down from above the corn fields, and our burning hotel, which emulates a second story fire with a combination of LED lights, software, and fog machines.  Finally, new to 2011 is the Wicked Maze.  The maze winds around the property, enslaving all who enter it with 8 foot walls covered in ghouls, gore and mesh as well as being “home” to 30 volunteer monsters designed to scare the living hell out of you.

The 2011 light show ran nightly beginning on October 2nd with a special kid’s night on October 13th, bringing 700 little visitors and their parents testing out their wills as well as their upcoming Halloween costumes.  The Wicked Maze opened on October 15th and ran through Halloween, bringing us to new heights with a total of 5,347 bold souls who entered.  An estimated 8500 visitors converged in to our neighborhood this October to brave the Wicked Maze, watch the synchronized light show and observe the spectacle that is the Wicked West Ghost Town of Jose Ramon Avenue.

Description I currenly only set up my home haunt at the office to due living arrangements at the current time. The set up is started in the receptionist area and has slowly expanded to include other parts of the office. Props or scenes include a graveyard, crypt with flying crank ghost and a blood fountain. The theme originated from the home haunt and is mainly geared toward cemetary props. I do have a website but is in desparate need of updating (next project) at www.iluvhalloween.com.

Description My home haunt has a cemetary with numerous pneumatic props, LED lighting, digital sound and cold fog. The house facade has a lightning effect with booming thunder. The garage maze has LED lighting, digital sound, pneumatic and wiper motor props. For controllers I use a combination of Haunted Enterprises' Animated Maestro's, EFX-TEK Prop-1's and my own design.
