- Halloween Brothers Train Ride
Website http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSa4dk5HXNI Builder Gary/Paul Howes Address Granby, Connecticut Description We gear our haunt for the 12 and under kids, but adults and teens also ride and tell me its a lot fun. One year we keep count of how many rides, we counted around 200. Its been going on for about 7 or 8 years now, when we started it was just plywood cut-outs. Now we are building moving characters. Each car has a speaker so when the train passes a character, a sound clip will play. If you would like to see the train during Halloween use these links. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSa4dk5HXNI - Daytime http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JuVG0KkbdI - Nightime

- Waterbury
- Pilgrim Asylum
Website N/A Builder Steve Sabia Address 76 Pilgrim Ave, Waterbury, Ct 06704 Description 9 years ago I started doing a haunted house for my Friends and their children as an addition to our Halloween party, it started in the basement with a few props that I made, black lights, a scary sound track, strobe light and volunteers. Then grew to include a maze and grave yard in our back yard....now since there are to many guest and props have become so numerous it now starts in my driveway with a maze, thru my garage and into my back yard. Every year I do a different theme and most of the scaring is done by 8-15 volunteers using static props ,fog machines, black lights, thunder and lighting machine, strobe lights and of course a
chain saw to create the atmosphere .This years theme is Pilgrim Insane Asylum. You can visit, but they may not let you leave !!!The inmates have taken over. You start by walking into the front door and enter the admitting room where your greeted by
our 1st inmate who believes he is a real Doctor, behind him ..a real nurse. Who he just killed ,he's coming after you.. You walk thru the next door looking down a 40' hallway with patient room doors, a jail cell and flickering lighting you see nothing, but as you continue walking you realize the rooms aren't empty and they want out !OH NO the doors open !! here they come ! you get away but walk right into the patient treatment room where the unfortunate Dr. is getting treated by the patient, too bad today treatment is electric shock therapy. Will you be next??? ,walking a little further up a couple stairs your greeted by a nice little boy....terrible thing he's in there for killing his parents...next scene...welcome to the Morgue ..don't be sure everyone is dead in here... last is the Graveyard and its open season on the new arrivals please stay with us ....FOREVER ! ,you think you are finally away from the crazies ,when our last inmate is carrying a chain saw, he fires it up and is coming after you HURRY GET OUT !!! I still do it for 1 night only before Halloween and for invited guest but I am expecting about 150-200 this year. I am hoping to one day to be able to do this in a donated building ,running it all Month and donating all the proceeds to Charity.
