Description This is the first year that the haunt moves outside to create a entire cemetery. Usually all props are inside for the annual party which every year has a different dark theme. We have diverted from the theme parties to a straight haunt as to use all the cool props constructed. Last years grim fairy tale theme had some creepy props, but not ones that you can use again year after year. Our haunt host a party for family and friends every year, and is the back drop. We also will be able to leave it up for trick or treat since it is the next day. The cemetery will consist of custom made tombstones, fencing, gates and pillars as well as lots os gargoyles and lighting. the cemetery will also feature many creatures, including of course some Pumpkinrot influenced scarecrows, one of which is deadwood Jack who the cemetery is named for. It is a static prop haunt concentrating on mood and details.

Description HALLOWEEN TOWN (formerly known as The Nightmare Before Halloween) is a free interactive haunted display that is located in Algonquin Illinois during the month of October.

Halloween Town was first created in 2005 by homeowner Jim Haupert. It all started with a tiny graveyard and a few skeleton lights. Kids enjoyed the display while parents would photograph them in the graveyard on Halloween night. Every year the display grew larger adding lights, fog and GHOULS and in 2008 with the addition of JACK SKELLINGTON HALLOWEEN TOWN was born!

Since then, a WHOLE LOT has changed! HALLOWEEN TOWN now includes Jack's partner, SALLY and his dog ZERO. Ocasionally the MAYOR himself will stop by during the HALLOWEEN season.

In addition, there are PNEUMATIC PROPS within the cemetary gates, an inviting graveyard walk thru brings spectators and victims of every age, up close and personal to their darkest fears! ZOMBIES, GARGOYLES, BATS, and SKELETONS, await you in this haunted cemetary! BLEEDING FOUNTAINS, CREEPY COFFFINS, and much, much, more can be seen here in HALLOWEEN TOWN.

Preperations for the following years display start as early as November and props are designed and built with THE CHICAGO HAUNT BUILDERS club year round. The display is only open during the month of OCTOBER and is great fun for all that love HALLOWEEN!

Description In the McHenry area there is an old gothic graveyard. The graveyard has an old wrought iron fence that surrounds the grave site and is lit with torches. There are many special effects and animatronics. Some of what you'll see is lightning, fog,ghosts, witches, skeletons and other creatures including a computer controlled skull and hologram. We are open Friday through Sunday from dusk until 10pm in October weather permitting. If it's raining we aren't running.

Description A long forgotten cemetery used for years for rituals by a witch coven. This coven intended to lift the veil between the living and the dead on the night it was already the thinnest: Halloween. The coven has long since died out, and so the cemetery sits abandoned waiting to be rediscovered every Halloween night...2011 was the first year of the haunt and was restricted to the front year with a cemetery design. In 2012 there are plans to add a haunted mausoleum (the garage) featuring pulley ghost props, the den of a unhinged undertaker, and an evil alter from which the coven would perform rituals.

zombie apolcalypse. A carnival in the woods had crashed and had been turned into zombies...Then as go through you here the grunts and moans of another zombie trying to get to man in a tree...wait its a military man.....nope he has turned into a zombie too....Now what? The military has been turned into zombies too!! Wait there is a girl, she is human....well not anymore...she has just been attacked by a zombie right in front of you and now all the zombies are coming after you...your rush into the med center to get help...The medic is trying to help a young boy who is turning into a zombie..its time to get out of there before they bite you....This journey is
not an easy one...Eventually you find your way into a building..And it couldn't be a worse area to find a way in...The butcher area and then into the freezer where bodies have been frozen...wait there is a young girl being eaten alive by a zombie...you hurry to get out of there and once you get through the next door way
you figure out that you are inside of a grocery store that has been over taken by zombies....You are met by different zombies on the way to finding your way out....In the end you meet Kelly who has been surviving here for months but you have lead the zombies to her... She screams and shoots but its to late has turned into a zombie and now your NEXT!!!!

Description This home haunt is in it's 5th year of operation. The front yard and garage have the sinister Halloween feel. Creepy graveyard including zombies that are hungry for your brains. There are pneumatic props in the front and the atmosphere is rounded off with lightening, fog and music. The garage theme changes every 2 years. This year there was a facade on the front of the garage to depict an old store front. This housed a very detailed room that the seance and fortune telling took place in. Most home haunts stop there but not this one. The backyard is transformed into 7 highly detailed rooms. Each room has been built by the owner Dan and then detailed to look like you are in that specific room. This year that included a pipe room, back woods room complete with a cabin facade then into the lab, next was the kitchen a sure fire hit with everyone. Did some one say CHAINSAW. Next a body bag room and finally the child's room CREEPY...Thousands of hours are put into planning and then executing those plans to make it an incredible place for all to enjoy. Each room also includes a pneumatic prop and actor to help scare the victims. Two months is what it takes to put the haunt up and one month to take it down and store all the items. The haunt must come down after Halloween and rebuilt the next year. The home is located in the suburbs and is on a modest piece of land. But when you enter the haunt you are transformed into a home of horror not sure when it will end or if you will make it out alive. Most of the pneumatics are made by Dan. The props are bought through companies that are seen at Transworld, Midwest haunters convention and Haunt Con. Each is a home haunters paradise. Dan makes the mechanisms that turn a prop into a moving piece of terror. He welds them onto metal frames, dresses and distresses them places them in just the right scene and then brings them to life .Dan goes by Psycho Zombie, Mr. Dan, Creepy man who does the Halloween house, and " aren't you that guy from Souls of the forsaken". This is his passion. His love. You can tell that he puts all his blood sweat and tears into making this haunt one of the best. Each year it gets bigger and bigger. New scares are thought up and introduced to the victims that attend. Thousands of victims come from far and wide to see what he has conjured up every year. The haunt is run by Dan Krein and his wife Tammie and his two children Danny and Dylan. The actors are friends of the family that give their time to come out each weekend and put on a show. This haunt is something to scream about. 2010 was a big year for Souls Of the Forsaken. It was featured on the news twice and had a segment done on it's involvement with Haunts for Hunger food drive. The local newspaper placed it on the front page with an article about the haunt inside. There was also a fine arts photographer from Los Angles that came on Halloween and took photos that will possibly be placed in his next book about American Holidays. Souls Of The Forsaken also collected over a ton of food averaging about 5,000 dollars worth of food for the local food pantry on it's first attempt to help out a charity. This home haunt is an extreme haunt that your parents warned you about. What crazy props is he building in the basement for next year? You will just have to come over to our house and experience it for yourself.

Description My birthday is on Halloween; so needless to say, it has always been my favorite holiday. This is an extremely large, 100 year old house surrounded by corn fields (our city population is 9k, south of Rockford, west of DeKalb). The yard has been growing over the last few years, always bigger and better I always say! Mostly a zombie graveyard. I just love chasing junior/high school kids down the street with a chainsaw, so much fun! They always call their friends on a cell phone to come check it out. I also throw a huge party every year, all rooms are themed and decorated to the max including animatronics, lights, sounds, fog, props, etc... Costume contest, etc.. This year we're actually having a proper theme- Alice in Zombie Land. My custom zombie/mutant white rabbit costume is freaking amazing! I'm just starting to build and experiment with some of my own larger props/animatronics. It's kind of a dream of mine to own/operate a massive haunted house. So over the next few years I'll be doing more research, going to conventions, learn how to write a business plan, etc... Who knows, maybe one day I'll actually do it! Description It is a yard haunt that we start setting up the last week of September and run every night until October, 31st. I have built several pneumatic props and have purchase several props also. We enjoy everyone who stops by to see the yard and especially Halloween night. We fog and have thunder and lightening shows from dusk till about 10pm when it all shuts off. Description The mansion has been a family and friend run haunt for 40 years. It was started in 1970 by Harry Mason and his family as a simple speaker in the bushes. The haunt has turned into a complete walk-thru with 11 rooms, full house front, and

Description	This is our annual yard display For many years, we have had thousands of people come by for a visit. Each year we try to add new things. Description	In the McHenry area there is an old gothic graveyard. The graveyard has an old wrought iron fence that surrounds the grave site and is lit with torches. There are many special effects and animatronics. Some of what you'll see is lightning, fog,ghosts, witches, skeletons and other creatures including a computer controlled skull and hologram. We are open Friday through Sunday from dusk until 10pm in October weather permitting. If it's raining we aren't running.

Description	A long forgotten cemetery used for years for rituals by a witch coven. This coven intended to lift the veil between the living and the dead on the night it was already the thinnest: Halloween. The coven has long since died out, and so the cemetery sits abandoned waiting to be rediscovered every Halloween night...2011 was the first year of the haunt and was restricted to the front year with a cemetery design. In 2012 there are plans to add a haunted mausoleum (the garage) featuring pulley ghost props, the den of a unhinged undertaker, and an evil alter from which the coven would perform rituals.

This year we created a haunt that made visitors feel like they were in a zombie apolcalypse. A carnival in the woods had crashed and had been turned into zombies...Then as go through you here the grunts and moans of another zombie trying to get to man in a tree...wait its a military man.....nope he has turned into a zombie too....Now what? The military has been turned into zombies too!! Wait there is a girl, she is human....well not anymore...she has just been attacked by a zombie right in front of you and now all the zombies are coming after you...your rush into the med center to get help...The medic is trying to help a young boy who is turning into a zombie..its time to get out of there before they bite you....This journey is not an easy one...Eventually you find your way into a building..And it couldn't be a worse area to find a way in...The butcher area and then into the freezer where bodies have been frozen...wait there is a young girl being eaten alive by a zombie...you hurry to get out of there and once you get through the next door way you figure out that you are inside of a grocery store that has been over taken by zombies....You are met by different zombies on the way to finding your way out....In the end you meet Kelly who has been surviving here for months but you have lead the zombies to her... She screams and shoots but its to late has turned into a zombie and now your NEXT!!!!

Description	This home haunt is in it's 5th year of operation. The front yard and garage have the sinister Halloween feel. Creepy graveyard including zombies that are hungry for your brains. There are pneumatic props in the front and the atmosphere is rounded off with lightening, fog and music. The garage theme changes every 2 years. This year there was a facade on the front of the garage to depict an old store front. This housed a very detailed room that the seance and fortune telling took place in. Most home haunts stop there but not this one. The backyard is transformed into 7 highly detailed rooms. Each room has been built by the owner Dan and then detailed to look like you are in that specific room. This year that included a pipe room, back woods room complete with a cabin facade then into the lab, next was the kitchen a sure fire hit with everyone. Did some one say CHAINSAW. Next a body bag room and finally the child's room CREEPY...Thousands of hours are put into planning and then executing those plans to make it an incredible place for all to enjoy. Each room also includes a pneumatic prop and actor to help scare the victims. Two months is what it takes to put the haunt up and one month to take it down and store all the items. The haunt must come down after Halloween and rebuilt the next year. The home is located in the suburbs and is on a modest piece of land. But when you enter the haunt you are transformed into a home of horror not sure when it will end or if you will make it out alive. Most of the pneumatics are made by Dan. The props are bought through companies that are seen at Transworld, Midwest haunters convention and Haunt Con. Each is a home haunters paradise. Dan makes the mechanisms that turn a prop into a moving piece of terror. He welds them onto metal frames, dresses and distresses them places them in just the right scene and then brings them to life .Dan goes by Psycho Zombie, Mr. Dan, Creepy man who does the Halloween house, and " aren't you that guy from Souls of the forsaken". This is his passion. His love. You can tell that he puts all his blood sweat and tears into making this haunt one of the best. Each year it gets bigger and bigger. New scares are thought up and introduced to the victims that attend. Thousands of victims come from far and wide to see what he has conjured up every year. The haunt is run by Dan Krein and his wife Tammie and his two children Danny and Dylan. The actors are friends of the family that give their time to come out each weekend and put on a show. This haunt is something to scream about. 2010 was a big year for Souls Of the Forsaken. It was featured on the news twice and had a segment done on it's involvement with Haunts for Hunger food drive. The local newspaper placed it on the front page with an article about the haunt inside. There was also a fine arts photographer from Los Angles that came on Halloween and took photos that will possibly be placed in his next book about American Holidays. Souls Of The Forsaken also collected over a ton of food averaging about 5,000 dollars worth of food for the local food pantry on it's first attempt to help out a charity. This home haunt is an extreme haunt that your parents warned you about. What crazy props is he building in the basement for next year? You will just have to come over to our house and experience it for yourself.

Description	My birthday is on Halloween; so needless to say, it has always been my favorite holiday. This is an extremely large, 100 year old house surrounded by corn fields (our city population is 9k, south of Rockford, west of DeKalb). The yard has been growing over the last few years, always bigger and better I always say! Mostly a zombie graveyard. I just love chasing junior/high school kids down the street with a chainsaw, so much fun! They always call their friends on a cell phone to come check it out. I also throw a huge party every year, all rooms are themed and decorated to the max including animatronics, lights, sounds, fog, props, etc... Costume contest, etc.. This year we're actually having a proper theme- Alice in Zombie Land. My custom zombie/mutant white rabbit costume is freaking amazing! I'm just starting to build and experiment with some of my own larger props/animatronics. It's kind of a dream of mine to own/operate a massive haunted house. So over the next few years I'll be doing more research, going to conventions, learn how to write a business plan, etc... Who knows, maybe one day I'll actually do it! Description	In 2007, my dad and I operated a small home haunt in our garage at our house in Bossier City, Louisiana. The name of it was Sci. Co. Asylum and it attracted 103 trick-or-treaters by the end of Halloween night. We considered that a big success for our first try at a haunted house. Before and after then, we have only put on small displays for trick-or-treaters to look at. This is our first big home haunt and we hope it is just as successful. Come visit us on Halloween night! I have been a HUGE Halloween fanatic ever since I was very little. I have attended Midwest Haunters Convention in Colombus, Ohio once and I am going back in June 2012. Description	It is a yard haunt that we start setting up the last week of September and run every night until October, 31st. I have built several pneumatic props and have purchase several props also.
