- Stafford Manor
Website N/A Builder Ken and Christina Sutton with lots of help from family and friends Address 337 Winchester St. Decatur, IN Description We do a walk through haunt each year around our home featuring 5-6 scenes and candy for whomever wants to come in costume. If you don't wear a costume you can still get candy, but since it is TRICK or Treat you will have to do a trick for us to get the candy! We have the ever popular FCG and a few scare-actors who love to frighten people! We are open on Halloween night( or whatever night our town deems worthy of Trick or Treating) from 6 until the people stop coming. Our haunt is more spooky and creepy than gorey. We try to keep the gor eto a minimum so we can keep it family friendly for even the youngest creatures of the night! Our haunt's backstory follows...On Halloween night so long ago,At Stafford Manor a love did grow. The bride and groom, the wedding plannedWalked down the aisle hand in hand. The guests arrived, the nuptials saidWith help from the cooks cleaver, the bride lost her head. Then the groom and the family tooClutched their throats as they turned blue,From poison in the soup they say.The cook was jealous and in her way,Took revenge on the family whole,By poisoning every single bowl.At the wedding party with rings of gold,The family died, turned blue and cold. Now their spirits haunt the halls,Each family member, great and small. On Halloween night they appear to roam,The halls and rooms of the family home. The bride confused and thinking still,Its her big day and what a thrill,To get to marry the man of her dreams. But Halloween night brings horror and screams. If you dare to make the trek,Be doubly sure and watch your neck. The old cook is said to live there still,And jealousy still makes her mind ill,For any guy or gal she sees,She has to torment, has to tease. To her they are the bride and groom,And she wants them to have nothing but gloom. The family wants to get the cook, And anyone else who dares to look,'round the old house on Halloween.Careful or you might be seen. And then the spirits and old cook tooMight just take their revenge on you! - Cosmo Street Haunted Garage
Website N/A Builder The Murray Family Address 1307 Cosmo St. Goshen Indiana Description We believe in "Sensory Overload"! Tons of fog, lots of strobe lights, loud, abnoxious, rock music, tight spaces and in-your-face actors. "Distract and conquer" is our motto. grab their attention to the left and get em' from the right.we're a small, two car garage with small rooms and narrow, twisty-turny hallways. The kids started it in 2003 and it has grown every year with hundreds of visitors on Halloween weekend.Last year we had a static camera inside a hallway with the monitor outside for the guests to watch. We also allowed some of the guests to come in and help scare others once they had been through themselves. That was a huge hit. HHA FORUM ID

- The Falkirk Fearscape
Website www.falkirk-fearscape.com Builder Shane and Anna Fischer Address 9503 Falkirk Drive, Indianapolis Indiana 46256 Description Haunt Story
In 1929, the insane Dr. Shockley was barred from practicing medicine after it was found that he had been experimenting with chemicals to bring dead bodies back to life. The authorities suspected him of being responsible for two patients who disappeared, but not enough evidence was found to convict, and he went into hiding. No one knew where he went, but you are about to find out!
Dr. Shockley has been living near this abandoned graveyard and has established his laboratory where he has become a hideous monster by experimenting on himself to find immortality. The cemetery is filled with graves that have been dug up for body parts to experiment on, and the grounds are haunted with the spirits of the disturbed souls.
The nearby woods are said to be the home of witches and demons. There is a cabin in the swamp that is home to two blind hags and tales say they steal the eyes of corpses and even the living in an effort to restore their sight. These witches have brought forth demons from the very pits of hell to do their bidding, and such evil was called up that the woods are now nothing more than a place of torture and despair for any living thing.
You will find that the tales of this forgotten place are true. The legends that have kept people away for so long have made it the perfect hiding place for evil. No one ever comes here.
Until tonight…
Our home haunt featured 12 live actors this year, a life-sized skeleton horse pulling a carriage hearse, a 4x8 foot crypt, graveyard, a real casket, an 8 foot tall grim reaper, an evil doctor's lab, a fake facade of a witch's shack, a smoking cauldron, a bottomless pit illusion, a 12 foot tall gallows, a 10 foot tall guillotine, working stocks, and a pumpkin music and light show. The evil laboratory was a more intense and gory section and was optional for those faint of heart or for little kids. Admission to walk through the haunt was $2 or one canned food item per person with all proceeds going to the Humane Society and the local food bank. We had around 400 visitors on Halloween night, and caused four people to run away and one to lose control of her bladder!
