- The Vampires Church
Website N/A Builder John Farrell Address New Orleans, LA Description John Farrell2010 was a NOT FOR PROFIT Halloween Haunt / Party for friends and their children and the children of the neighborhood. This was our 11th year doing this haunt. It was complete with set designs, fire performers, tarot card readers and friends turned actors with chain saws. As victims walked up the driveway, they entered our Vampire Church where they were shown a short video clip followed by a blast from the air cannon. They proceeded into the yard haunt/party where they walked into a living room murder scene. They then went to the haunted library where we had books flying in the air, an electric fireplace, a clown in an old rocker that was spinning and other ghoulish things. From this point they took a journey into the cemeteries which lead our victims into the garage turned morgue / food court section. We had bobbing for apples and the children ended their walk through with a visit from the witch that handed out candy. At times children were crying and others ran out spilling their pumpkins but each and every one of them eventually left with a smile. For the adults we had trophies for the scariest, sexiest, most creative and best latex costumes which once the winners were announced, We had confetti cannons go off covering the yard / haunt area with black and orange streamers (hard to get out of the tress!)
