Website N/A Builder Troy and Travis Clifford Address 4515 Sugar Bars, Friendswood, TX Description This the first year we are doing a haunt and it's only going to get bigger and better from here on out. We decided to make different scenes in our haunt including a butcher shop scene in the garage, a vampires lair by the front door, a spider scene in the trees, a zombie baby scene and of course a cemetery full of zombies and reapers. Most of our stuff this year are store bought because we are rookies but we did manage to make cemetery
pillars with a cemetery fence, the butcher in the butcher shop, a couple of skeleton ground breakers and one of the spider victims we made. Enjoy!FORUM ID

Website http://www.facebook.com/video/?oid=302612803100054#!/pages/Terror-on-Two-Jacks/302612803100054?sk=wall Builder Karlen Alexander Address 7410 Two Jacks Trail Round Rock, Texas 78681 Description Nestled within a quiet community in Round Rock is a home that backs up to Brushy Creek Trail. Unbeknownst to the owners at the time of purchase, their property contained the unmarked grave of the Hairy Man of Brushy Creek (YouTube Legend - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCFfvD2chcw). While normally quiet most of the year, the Hairy Man becomes angry during the month of October in anticipation of all the trick or treater’s who will once again trespass on his beloved Brushy Creek Trail. Over 10 years ago, the owners, sensitive to the malevolent haunting of the Hairy Man, began the process of transforming their home into both a shrine for the grave they disturbed and a resting place for other evil spirits to join with the Hairy Man in torturing the living. As word spread of the family’s strange behavior, and the events of Halloween that were stranger still, local residents simply began referring to the house as the Terror on Two Jacks. Many children and adults come to pay homage each you to the Hairy Man and most accept, and pass, the challenge of entering the labyrinth of evil spirits that springs forth in the garage each year. - Rowlett
- Nickols Manor
Website www.nickolsmanor.com Builder Jayson and Dixie Address Rowlett, Texas Description So, last year was our first year to REALLY get into our yard haunt hard core. It was simple… kicked out a bunch of tombstones, a couple of ground breakers, pumpkins, assorted spooky dudes, etc… and threw them all out in the yard. Scared some kiddies. Looked forward to the next year. We called it Nickols Manor. We boarded up the windows of our house, and tried to make it look old and run down. I wore a historic period dress, as if I were the ghost of the Manor. Jayson was a haunted pumpkin, straight from the pumpkin patch. Looking back on it, I wondered – who would expect an entire front yard of an old house to be taken up with a cemetery? And why is there crate in the front yard with a monster (MIB) trying to jump out at people? Oh, yes, a Grim Reaper pumpkin man ALWAYS stands at the front door of abandoned houses, waiting to scare people that happen to walk upon it. So this year, I’m already over complicating it. I want realism. I want to try and recreate the feeling of walking up to an abandoned house, the anticipation of what will jump out at you… rather than having it all *out there*… in your face, so to speak. Darkness frightens me when I don’t know what’s coming, so we are considering keeping part of the yard without lights,
and then using LED spots to light up a motion detected prop as it “jumps out”… try to make the HOUSE an actual character in the haunt, and make better use of the windows, roof, etc. Just trying to be real, and see if we can get the same scare.FORUM ID
